Generation Next
Established in 2007, Generation Next is a competition for Western Canada’s most promising new design talent. Generation Next has helped launch collections for such well known talent as: Nicole Bridger, Carny Love, Lara Presber, Elroy, Red Jade, Two of Hearts, Ella Peru, and last year’s winner Sofia. Not only does Generation Next provide a composite fashion show for our newest designers but it also sets the winning designer on the path to success with an amazing prize package worth $10,000.
The Fashion Capsule Closet
The Fashion Capsule Closet is specifically aimed at providing stars and top filmmakers with an opportunity to wear Canadian designed dresses, jewelry and accessories to their premieres, on the red carpet, and to the endless film parties at the Toronto Film Fest. Last year, The Fashion Capsule Closet played host to
Lauren Lee Smith, Ona Grauer, Liane Balaban, Rachel Blanchard, Katie Boland, and Sook Yin Lee to name a few.
Interbike
Urban Legend at Interbike in Las Vegasis a self propelled fashion show that brings the cutting edge of urban
bicycle culture to life. The concept highlights a week in the life of an urban cyclist from funky day looks to evening gowns fit for the opera.
EPIC Raw Talent
Style meets sustainability and fashion is forward looking at EPIC: Sustainable Living Expo. The fashion show is designed to educate the audience on eco-friendly fabrics while showing
them the latest fashion trends. The end result is smart shoppers who will look great from the inside out.
Pret a Pour Tea
Prêt a Pour Tea: A High Tea and High Fashion Event raises money for the B.C. Region of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. CTV’s Tamara Taggart hosts the tea room style fashion
show featuring collections from some of Vancouver’s top designers and retailers.
