Fashion Capsule strives to develop brands into recognizable names to the media by writing creative releases (we love being inspired by our clients and their work); providing opportunities for publicity beyond press releases (think gift lounges and trend reports); and producing fashion shows that are more than the usual catwalk experience (musical chairs and bicycles anyone?).
[Our Story]
Fashion Capsule (formerly The Honey Mustard) has been in business since November 2003. Director Sarah Murray earned her Honours BA in English from the University of Toronto and was working as a freelance writer in Vancouver. Sarah already had a media database as a freelance writer. So she simply turned “can I write this story for you?” into “I have a great story that you should write.”

Fashion Capsule’s Style Lounge turns seeing into believing. Seasonal parties introduce the latest collections to the media and stylists. This is your opportunity to touch the clothing and accessory samples, fall in love, and borrow the items. No matter if you are a client, an editor or a stylist, the fashion industry is invited to come and have a drink and relax.

I just finished hosting the first stylists to test out the Style Lounge. Jacky and Lindsay from Stylust Magazine pulled for a shoot for their October issue. They fell in love with Gaya, felt inspired by To Desire and will be accessorizing with Brooklyn Designs and Irit Sorokin Designs.
